Encapsulation of Rhodamine 6G Dye Molecules for Affecting Symmetry of Supramolecular Crystals of Melamine-Barbiturate

Supramolecular organic systems can be used as a host for the encapsulation of small molecules. Here, we chose melamine barbiturate robust system capable supramolecular assembly and Rhodamine 6G dye entrapment guest molecule. The was investigated by UV-visible spectroscopy, SEM optical fluorescent microscopy while insight into crystal structure obtained single powder XRD. For investigation system’s properties on molecular level, DFT Classical Molecular Dynamics methods were utilized. Surprisingly, both theoretical experimental data show not only successful molecules inside assembly, but also that inclusion such leads to drastic improvement in shape. presence tend form crystals with lesser degree twinning higher symmetry shape than ones without
